The new album is a re-issue Eleanor's first album produced by Pat Moran. In its original guise, it went 'Gold' in Ireland and sold a quarter of a million copies world wide. This title has been unavailable since Eleanor moved from Geffen to Sony in 1995.

The original CD cover has been enhanced and presented as a full colour digi-pack with an eight page colour booklet. Hi-Fi music journalist Reuben Parry has written an introduction to the album which contains the lyrics of all the original titles.

In October, Eleanor McEvoy appeared at the Irish Music Magazine Awards at the National Concert Hall in Dublin, where the album, "A Woman’s Heart - A Decade On" was honoured as 'compilation album of the year'.
