First Light represents the earliest known recordings of one of the UK's most enduring rock bands. Recorded in 1970 with the aim of securing a record deal, the original vinyl acetate was sold at auction by Christies and the tracks have subsequently been licensed. There is a raw energy captured here, featuring the 'classic' line-up of the band that went on to release the universally-acclaimed 'Argus'. |
