In the second instalment of their trilogy of concept albums based on Dante Alighieri´s "La Divina Commedia", Purgatorio, Berlin-based electronic pioneers Tangerine Dream expand their musical macrocosm to epic proportions.

The middle part of the Divine Comedy is set to music as a monumental 2 1/2 hour opus magnum on two merging elements of modern electronica with neo-classical fragments, choral music, alluring female vocals and rock opera to create one of their most musical diverse and, at times, also most melodic works ever.
