This is a marvellous collection of traditional and contemporary folk tunes performed by Simon Care and celebrating 30 years of melodeon playing.

Simon has lent his talents to a number of well-known folk acts through this period, including Albion Dance Band, Phil Beer, Edward II and Show Of Hands.

Many think that melodeon means traditional, and perhaps unexciting, accompaniment to finger-in-the-ear folk tunes. In the hands of Simon Care the instrument is reinvented and the contemporary take on the traditional tune that ends this album, from Simon's band Tickled Pink, ROCKS!!
