River Records' second Robben Ford reissue is "The Authorized Bootleg", originally released in 1998 (but recorded around the time of 1995's "Handful Of Blues" sessions). 

The basic trio is boosted to a quartet with the addition of a baby grand piano. There are several extended tracks in the 6-10 minute bracket, where the sheer quality of Robben's playing fairly takes one's breath away. 

There is an incredibly beautiful version of Ray Charles' "Dont Let The Sun Catch You Crying" and a solo stab at Pal Butterfield's "Lovin' Cup". Another quality reissue from River Records. A few songs on this title are also on "Handful Of Blues" but these are acoustic versions.
