About the Authors

Leslie West is guitar maestro with Mountain, and presents his own VH1 rock show. He has played alongside Billy Joel, Van Halen, The Who, Mick Jagger and Jimi Hendrix, to name just a few, and Eddie Van Halen, Michael Schenker and Richie Sambora have all cited Leslie as an important influence on their own music. In 1986, he acted alongside Tom Hanks and Shelley Long in the hit comedy film, The Money Pit and has lent his distinctive voice to the popular animated series, Beast Wars Transformers.

Corky Laing, as well as drumming for Mountain and West, Bruce & Laing, has played with Eric Clapton, Meatloaf, Todd Rundgren, Dickie Betts, Ian Hunter, Mick Ronson, Lee Michaels, Steve Hunter and Paul Butterfield amongst others, and tours regularly with Mountain.
