The second album "Seven" was released on 1 March 2004 and sold out of it's first pressing within 4 weeks! Reviews for the CD were unanimous around the world - this was a CD that confirmed that there was a new force in the Progressive Rock scene. With over 72 minutes of music the CD had old and new fans alike singing the band's praises.

The band's first CD single was released on 01 June 2004 - the title track being Broken. Whilst shorter than any of the tracks on 'Seven', 'Broken' retained all of the quality that is Magenta but gave it a slightly different spin. The single also included 4 extra tracks.
