An excellent 2CD live set from Level 42, recorded at their artistic and commercial peak in September 1983. Touring on the back of their massive Top 10 hit Living it Up (The Sun Goes Down) which had charted earlier that summer. Their other 2 hits of that massive year for Level 42 – The Chinese Way and Out Of Sight,Out Of Mind are also included here. Disc one features 11 short-and-to-the-point tracks, while the band flex their musical muscle on the 4 extended tracks on disc 2.


Level 42 and Mark King are still touring in 2005, and some recent DVD releases have ensured that their profile is still high. As ever, the recording quality is superb and is another welcome addition to the growing River Sessions series.
