In February 1976 on the eve of a sell-out UK tour, Jan Akkerman left Focus. The acclaimed guitarist was replaced by London-born, Belgian raised Philip Catherine. This recording captures the band in March 1976 at the New Victoria Theatre in London and features band favourites as well as new compositions. Although Focus made one more studio album, 'Focus Con Proby', before they finally split in 1978 this is a rare live recording of the post-Akkerman lineup which also features American drummer David Kemper. |
