Billy's musical relationship with Yes' Chris Squire began with a collaboration titled "The More We Live" featured on the Yes "Union" album. This began the connection with YES. Sherwood and Squire formed a side project called "Conspiracy" from which came 2 CDs.

Through the years Sherwood continued a relationship with YES, which had him touring, producing, writing, and eventually joining the band. He was a band member for the two CD's "Open Your Eyes" and "The Ladder"; which had Billy playing guitar, keys, and singing.

After his adventures with YES, Billy headed back into the studio to work on various productions. In between projects Billy found time to work on some personal material, which evolved, into his second solo CD "No Comment"; a true solo project in which Billy produced, wrote, performed, and played the entirety. Billy infuses this CD with his signature use of layered textures and sounds. Anyone who has followed Billy's musical journey will enjoy this detailed and introspective creation.
