This compilation includes a good cross section of the bands material including some of the earliest material All About Eve committed to tape including the demo version of Every Angel from the album Return To Eden which gathers together many tracks from the bands formative days.

We have also included acoustic versions of Martha’s Harbour and Scarlet both of which will be known to long time fans of the band. The other more rock inspired side of the band however is also in evidence here and we have live versions of Touched By Jesus and Shelter From The Rain from the Live and Electric album.

The current line up of All About Eve including original members Julianne Reagan, Andy Cousin alongside relative newcomers Toni Haimi and Ben Savigear is considered to be the best the band have ever had and that even includes the original line up.

There is however still something inherently beautiful about the band but at the same time there is substance to be found in the new line up which was something that had always been there but before had only been hinted at.

For this compilation we have included many tracks that you will be familiar with although we have tried to include versions that you may not be familiar with in order to demonstrate the breadth of talent contained within this band.

As a gentle introduction, this CD does fit the bill and is a fair overview of a band that have produced such gems as 'Martha's Harbour', 'Scarlet' and 'What Kind Of Fool' (all included here in some shape or form).

With the band still performing in a new iteration, it also holds out the hope of greater things to come.
